The Galia / Odette Container 6422 (also referenced as O-6422) is a rugged, standard BOX in the French automotive logistics system. Designed with external dimensions of 600 × 400 × 214 mm (molded ~594 × 396 × 214 mm) and internal usable dimensions of around 560 × 362 × 194 mm, it provides approximately 39 litres of storage capacity.
This container features fully closed walls and a smooth, flat bottom, delivering consistent support for component parts without stress points. The box has closed integrated handles and metallic label holders on both the long and short sides, enabling barcode, RFID, or Kanban card insertion for streamlined identification. With a static load rating of 20 kg and stack / interstack capacity of 250 kg, it is suitable for multi-layer stacking in return logistics. The 6422 is built to last and integrates well into Odette / GALIA-certified supply chains.
When deployed in practice, 6422 containers stack directly atop a plastic pallet base, forming secure pallet units that are then topped with pallet covers or lids for transit. This system ensures goods remain stable, protected, and efficiently packed for automotive, electronics, or industrial flows.
