The VDA R-KLT 3215 is a unique model within the R-KLT series: while maintaining the VDA 300 × 200 mm standard footprint (outer dimensions ~297 × 198 × 147 mm), it features a smooth bottom instead of the typical ribbed base. This makes it particularly well-suited for conveyor systems, automated handling, and sensitive part transport, where a flat, even base is required.

With an internal capacity of about 5.26 L (243 × 162 × 129.5 mm), the R-KLT 3215 is ideal for small and medium components such as clips, fasteners, electronic modules, connectors, or subassemblies. Despite its lighter construction, it supports up to 20 kg static load and stacking up to 600 kg, ensuring reliable performance in returnable packaging loops. Its modular footprint allows 16 containers per pallet layer on a Euro pallet, optimizing pallet unit formation. Integrated closed handles and label holders make it compatible with both manual handling and automated tracking systems in automotive, electronics, and industrial logistics.
