The VDA C-KLT 6428 is a large-volume, heavy-duty container manufactured to the VDA 600 × 400 mm footprint standard. With external dimensions of 600 × 400 × 280 mm and a usable volume of about 42.9 L (internal size approx. 532 × 346 × 231 mm), it is designed for handling bulky and heavy components in demanding industrial logistics.

Featuring fully closed walls and base, double-wall reinforced construction with struts, and a ribbed base, the 6428 provides outstanding stacking stability and long service life. Rated for a static load of 50 kg and a stack load of up to 600 kg, it is perfectly suited for automotive supply chains, warehouse logistics, and modular transport systems. Its 600 × 400 mm footprint allows 4 containers per layer on a 1200 × 800 mm Euro pallet, forming stable pallet units when combined with lids or pallet covers. Common applications include larger subassemblies, hydraulic and pneumatic components, wiring harnesses, and other medium-to-large industrial parts. Integrated label holders on all sides support barcode, RFID, and Kanban-based identification systems.
