The LP-STM-6511 is a medium container with a footprint of 600×500 mm and an internal height of 90 mm, offering a usable volume of 22.4 litres. Slightly taller than the shallowest model in the range, it provides extra capacity for compact parts while maintaining compatibility with standardized pallet and transport systems.
Its rhombic reinforced base and pre-compression design guarantee stability under stacking loads of up to 250 kg, while the internal grid structure ensures secure fixation of thermoformed trays or textile dunnage. This makes the container highly efficient in returnable automotive packaging loops, where components must remain safe and stable during transport and handling.
Manufactured from polypropylene copolymer (PP-C), the LP-STM-6511 is resistant to impact, reusable over long cycles, and fully recyclable. It can also be supplied in ESD conductive black material, providing electrostatic discharge protection for sensitive electronics. In this version, the container is part of automotive logistics program under reference T5 33704, used for electronic modules and control components.
For transporting hazardous automotive parts such as airbag modules, seatbelt pretensioners, or components with pyrotechnic charges, the container can be produced with a UN packaging certification, ensuring compliance with international dangerous goods regulations.
Application Examples
- Automotive: electronic control units, sensors, actuators, and safety devices (airbag modules, seatbelt pretensioners in UN-certified versions)
- Electronics: small PCBs, relays, power modules stored in ESD-safe black conductive containers
- Industrial: compact mechanical assemblies, fittings, and submodules requiring tray or dunnage stabilization
- Logistics: efficient palletized return systems with thermoformed inserts and protective pallet covers
