The Intralogistics AKL Container 6545-27 is crafted for automated warehouse systems (AKL / ASRS / shuttle systems) that demand reliability, precision, and structural robustness. Measuring 650 × 450 × 270 mm externally and offering 610 × 412 × 232 mm of internal space, this container gives you ~40.9 litres of capacity while maintaining a light tare weight of approximately 2,190 g.

Its foundation is a circumferential closed miniload base—a frame around the perimeter with ribbed internal structure, also called a crown-style bottom. This design ensures excellent load distribution, prevents bottom deformation under repeated stacking, and maintains flatness critical for shuttle and conveyor systems. The base is rated to support up to 50 kg load, making it suitable for dynamic automated flows.

Corner zones are reinforced with double-wall structure, and edges are beveled to reduce friction, noise, or catching in multi-directional movement through racks, conveyors, and shuttles. Walls are normally closed, but variants with water drainage holes (complying with fire safety standards) are offered. The crate supports integrated partition slots so that internal compartments (½, ¼, ⅛) can be created to segregate parts or modules neatly.

This container is ideal for:

  • Shuttle rack buffer systems in AKL setups
  • Conveyor transfer and staging zones
  • Automated picking, sorting, or transfer cells
  • Storing electronic modules, assemblies, small mechanical parts, and component kits

By combining precise geometry, reduced noise design, and a crown base optimized for automated handling, the 6545-27 ensures efficient flow, low maintenance, and long life in high-throughput warehousing systems.
