The VDA A1208 pallet cover / lid is crafted as a robust place-on plastic lid to top off pallet units built with stackable KLTs or Euro containers. With external measurements of 1205 × 805 × 94 mm, it is tailored to cover 1200×800 mm pallet footprints and integrate seamlessly with standard VDA KLT logistics systems.

Constructed from PPC (polypropylene copolymer), the lid offers long-term mechanical strength, stability, and resistance to transport stresses. Its reinforced structure and stacking rim allow additional pallet loads to rest on top without compromising the integrity of the covered unit.

The A1208 cover is compatible with popular container layouts—such as 8 units of 400×300 mm or 4 units of 600×400 mm—which is typical in automotive logistic loops. It forms a key element in pallet unit systems (pallet base + stacked containers + cover) to create cohesive, stackable, and reusable transport units.

For environments handling electronics or electrostatic sensitive components, a black ESD conductive variant is available, offering the same geometry with electrostatic protection.
