Accessories
LP-MT-FP-6012 — Transparent Front Insert 117×90 mm – Non-ESD clear front flap that prevents parts from falling out while keeping contents visible.
LP-ESD-MT-DIV-6012 — Conductive Internal Divider 117×90 mm – Black ESD-safe divider sliding into the long-side internal guide channels to create multiple compartments inside the bin.
LP-ESD-MT-LID-6012 — Conductive Lid for 600×117 mm Racking Box – Black ESD place-on lid for dust protection and secure in-house transport of sensitive components.
LP-ESD-MT-LBL-6012 — Label Set for Front Holder – Pre-cut paper labels sized for the integrated label slot, supporting text and barcode identification.
LP-MTLFP-6012 — Transparent Label Protection Film 117 mm – Clear film protecting printed labels from dust, abrasion and handling wear.
The LP-ESD-MT-6012-09 is a narrow-format ESD racking box engineered for dense, clearly structured storage of electronic components on shelves, racking systems and carousel stackers in electrostatic protected areas (EPAs).
Manufactured from black ESD polypropylene, the container provides reliable electrostatic discharge control with a flow/surface resistance of 10⁴ < 10¹⁰ Ohm, ensuring safe storage and handling of sensitive electronic goods. The outer dimensions of 600 × 117 × 90 mm are designed to exploit full shelf depth in 600 mm lanes, while the inner dimensions of 570 × 95 × 85 mm offer a usable volume of 4 L at a tare weight of 0.61 kg. The elongated 600 mm footprint is ideal for deep shelving and system trolleys, and the 117 mm narrow width enables a high number of channels per rack level, supporting fine-grained SKU separation. An integrated front label holder ensures excellent clarity for part numbers, barcodes and Kanban labels. The robust design guarantees efficient stackability, and the smooth geometry supports ergonomic handling during picking and replenishment. To adapt the bin to different storage concepts, LP offers a transparent front insert, a black conductive internal divider (inner insert ESD 117×90 mm) that slides into the molded side channels, and a conductive lid for rack box 600×117 mm. Together, these options enable secure retention, multi-compartment organization and dust-protected ESD storage across the entire intralogistics flow.
Applications & Industry Uses
- Electronics manufacturing: SMD reel packs, connector sets, plug housings, terminal blocks and small PCB assemblies stored in long, narrow ESD rack lanes.
- Automotive electronics: sensor housings, clips, small E/E modules, micro-switches and interface parts organized along deep shelves for line-side supply.
- Industrial automation & control: terminals, compact I/O modules, relay sockets and interface accessories stored in clearly labeled narrow bins.
- Laboratories & test environments: adapters, probes, test coupons, small instruments and evaluation boards arranged in EPA-compliant shelving.
- Intralogistics & Kanban: narrow Kanban containers for high-frequency ESD parts in shelf and carousel systems, supporting lean material flow.
- Service & maintenance (MRO): spare electronic components, repair kits and ESD-sensitive consumables on mobile racks used between production and service areas.
Usage Scenarios
- In an electronics assembly rack, several LP-ESD-MT-6012-09 racking bins are positioned in parallel across a 600 mm deep shelf. Each bin is dedicated to a specific connector family or fastener type, labeled in the front holder and subdivided by a conductive divider into multiple ESD-safe compartments.
- On a line-side supply trolley, the 600×117 mm footprint allows long bins to fit perfectly onto the trolley frame, each containing a full shift’s worth of small electronic parts. Operators can pull the bin partially out, pick components and push it back into the lane without losing parts thanks to the transparent front insert.
- At an ESD workstation, one bin holds a mix of SMD packs and connectors, another holds screws and mechanical fittings. Both are equipped with label sets and protective label films to support clear identification and error-free picking throughout long production runs.
- For internal transport and buffering, the LP-ESD-MT-6012-09 is fitted with a conductive lid, allowing it to move between warehouse, pre-assembly, testing and final assembly while protecting sensitive contents from dust and incidental contact, all within an ESD-controlled environment.
